The Aquaculture, Fisheries, and Technology (A.F.T.) program is one of many career and technical education programs at Puget Sound Skills Center. Students from multiple South King County school districts come together to explore careers in marine science, aquaculture, fisheries, conservation, and ocean technology. Through hands-on learning, they raise salmon and oysters, collect field data, test water quality, build technical skills, and work alongside industry professionals to solve real-world environmental challenges. Our classroom is more than a science lab. It's a place where students develop leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and career-ready skills while discovering a passion for protecting our marine ecosystems. Your support helps provide authentic learning experiences and prepares students to become the next generation of marine science professionals and environmental stewards.
