Larry began teaching in California, and then moved to Philadelphia and taught physics at Philadelphia High School for Girls and Central High School until his retirement in 2001. He also oversaw a physics summer mentorship program at the University of Pennsylvania for high school students of color for many years. After retiring he continued to teach physics part-time at Community College of Philadelphia. Larry was passionate about teaching and supporting young minds. As he grew older he extended his teaching into other fields, including teaching equine therapy and the Alexander Technique. Please join Larry's loved ones in supporting Philadelphia area school students in funding their classroom projects. hide
