Hawkins County Schools:

Hawkins County Schools are in a mostly rural community within the upper northeastern portion of Tennessee. The county encompasses 570 square miles and is one of the largest counties in the State. Hawkins County has rich history. The Board of Education offices are at home in Rogersville, the second oldest town in Tennessee.

The district is home base to 16 schools from Pre-K through 12 th grade and serves over 5,800 students. The mission is igniting a lifelong passion for learning.  The vision for Hawkins County Schools’ is to positively impact our community by instilling the values of responsibility, integrity and service, ensuring students have the knowledge and skills necessary for meaningful employment, post-secondary education, and productive community involvement.
