I'd like to request your generosity in obtaining 17 copies of "Animal Farm" ($135) for my 9th grade girls in order to be able to read and discuss this essential text before we head to the theater to watch it. 95% of my girls hail from disadvantaged communities and will be the first ones to attend college. It is my goal to get them excited about the world of ideas around them and debate this enduring quote from this text, "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." ... more
