The Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) serves the needs of Santa Clara County’s thirty-three K-12 public school districts and one adult education district. SVEF leverages partnerships and resources for public education so all students can realize their full potential. The “Stepping Up To Algebra” (SUTA) program is an intensive 19-day summer class designed to prepare incoming 8th graders for success in algebra. Through this program, SVEF is working to ensure that every student in the program is ready to take and succeed in algebra during the 8th grade and increase students’ algebra proficiency rates to put them on a trajectory towards attending a four-year college. This SVEF GIVING PAGE is seeking the support of donors who are willing to help with document cameras. Each teacher working the 4.5 weeks in the summer to prepare instruction and deliver to students daily will receive a document camera. We welcome your support! hide
