Welcome to our Giving Page! We are a rural school district about an hour north of Milwaukee, WI. We have many special education students with severe sensory and physical needs. We are constantly looking for ways to enrich our students' lives. Please consider picking a classroom project from the list below to support. Our rural elementary school of 440 students has many students with sensory and physical impairments. We have a ball pit and a small climbing wall for students who are cognitively and physically capable of using them. A Sonoma Body pillow would give those with more severe sensory and physical impairments a chance to have a better way to calm their bodies. This calming helps to make them more able to work on educational activities. Two of our students will be having back surgery at the end of the summer. This would be a therapeutic option for positioning and calming them during their recuperation period. I can think of at least 10 students currently in Early Childhood – grade 4 that would immediately benefit from using this body pillow. Thank you for considering our request.
