My class spends a lot of time learning and listening on the floor. I would like to have an alphabet area rug for my students to sit on. I think a rug would provide a focus area for the students learning, function as a learning tool, and provide colorful comfortable seating. Having a rug like this helps each child find their spot on the floor quickly. Most of my students come from low income homes. An attractive inviting classroom makes coming to school and learning fun!
