There's going to be a ton of stuff going on for this party. We're going to have a DJ spinning the wheels of steel for you, we're going to have appetizers from the awesome Cast Iron Grill for you, we're going to have a full on casino for you with craps, blackjack and poker, we're going to have a ton of awesome giveaways being raffled for you, and most importantly, an OPEN BAR for you. Who says nothing in life is free? Well, this isn't either. Because while I'm not charging a cover, I am asking/strongly encouraging you to do something awesome for your community. "What can I possibly do for my community, Jason?" Well, I'm glad you asked. Since most of you have an adverse reaction to manual labor, why don't you just do me a favor and donate some money to a local school who has projects in need of funding? The great thing about Donors Choose is that the donor (that's you) gets to choose what kind of project that you want to support? Are you a math nerd? Pick a math project! Do you think music makes the world go round and want to help buy two dozen recorders for 3rd graders to rock out to Hot Cross Buns on? No problem. Do you have a kid and want to donate to a project at their school? Do it. YOU get to decide where your money goes. So what I'm asking is that you all sign in and donate something, even $5, to one of these great causes. Teachers have to buy their own Kleenex for these snot-nosed kids running around their classrooms; the least we can do is help with some other projects. And who knows, maybe that kickball team you helped fund will help stopping one of these kids from mugging you later. Of course, this isn't mandatory to come, but it's awesome if you do. So awesome, in fact, that for every $5 you donate, I will ensure that you get an extra raffle ticket entered into the various drawings we have throughout the night for FABULOUS PRIZES! hide
