Matthew's Pre-K teacher is still working on getting her proposal funded. I have sent out an email before for her proposal to a list of you all, and I have had a few respond to it and make a donation. I wrote Oprah and Ellen but neither one responded. OH WELL, it was worth a try. I also am trying a local avenue "Tools for Schools" but they have a list backed up for a year. She has only till August to get it funded. This is a resource that she would like to have in her classroom ... more

I wrote Oprah and Ellen but neither one responded. OH WELL, it was worth a try. I also am trying a local avenue "Tools for Schools" but they have a list backed up for a year. She has only till August to get it funded. This is a resource that she would like to have in her classroom in order to enable her children to become better learners. It is also something that Lil Marc would be able to use. I am creating a registry in Matthew's honor for anyone that would like to make a donation. There is no minimum amount that has to be donated, so you can donate just a dollar. I am praying that everyone uses this opportunity to take some of the money that they will spend on him or Lil Marc for their birthday and put it towards this proposal instead. Anyway, thanks again for your time and consideration in this matter. His teacher will be monitoring the proposal during the summer, and if enough donations come through, she will be contributing to the difference in order to get the recorder. Also for some reason her proposal does not get funded, Donors Choose will email you with the opportunity to choose another teachers’ project if that is the option you choose when you donate.
