Dora's Beyond the Backpack is Nickelodeon’s new initiative to champion overall kindergarten readiness for preschoolers as they prepare for their biggest adventure yet—going to school! <p> As a multi-year program, in partnership with the National PTA®, Beyond the Backpack is designed to call attention to the overall skills and resources that preschoolers need for those first, crucial steps into school, including: early literacy and math skills; social skills and emotional intelligence; physical wellness; and parent involvement in school. <p> This is why we're partnering with DonorsChoose.org and bringing these projects to life at half the cost!
