NOTE on Educational Technology Requests: If educational technology devices are requested, teachers will be required to attend a mandatory workshop facilitated by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools-Educational Technology Division (formerly known as “CTAP”). to be scheduled in February 2011. More details will follow in the future.

Grant Criteria:

  • Grants are available to K-12 public school Teachers in Kern County schools, and schools in the following districts: Coalinga-Huron Joint Unified School District, San Ardo School District, and Reef-Sunset Unified School District.
  • Teachers whose projects focus in the subject areas of: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math will have priority for educational technology requests.
  • Chevron may fund up to two (2) projects per Teacher at $1,000 each in total costs (materials, taxes, and shipping) for classroom projects while funds last.
