Welcome to the All the children are children, school's Page. Please join me in supporting kids in need by making a donation of any size!.For this new school year 300 orphaned children may not go to school due because their parents just cannot afforded to buy school supplies. My Students: Help us make spelling and vocabulary more fun through hands-on learning and less worksheet learning! My students are absolutely fabulous! They want to learn but have a lot going against their learning potential. Our school is plagued with poverty and lack of parental involvement. Most of the students at our school qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of our students get ZERO HELP once they walk out of the school doors. I need to be able to use strategies in my classroom that will help my students remember what they are learning in a fun way. I am only one person so I need to have items that my students can use on their own while I work with small groups of students or one-on-one. My Project: I am requesting magnetic letter tiles, magnetic boards, letter stamps, and stamp pads. My students will use these materials to build their spelling and vocabulary words weekly. Students are able to remember the words better when they have created them in a tactile environment. I feel that by using these materials my students will improve their spelling and vocabulary grades and knowledge. Also, the materials are non-consumable so I will be able to use them year after year. I hope that you will consider supporting my project! In the past, due to lack of materials, my students have learned mostly through worksheets and oral practice. When students are able to see and touch what they are trying to learn and remember the results are long-lasting. These materials would create a hands-on activity for subjects that are not very hands-on! PLEASE HELP! With only $500,00 will make a bid difference among children in need.
