My Project

I teach Kindergarten in a Title-I school district. Kindergarten students need breaks from rigorous structured learning throughout the day. Recess provides students with a necessary break while also providing opportunities to interact with their peers to learn important skills such as sharing and teamwork. On a rainy day, we have to take our recess indoors. I am seeking donations of engaging games and toys that my students can use during indoor recess time.

Toys play a vital role in Kindergarten education by supporting children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Toys such as trucks, cars, and career dress-up costumes will encourage imaginative play, which fosters creativity and problem-solving skills.

Toys such as legos, magnet tiles, and Play-Doh support the development of fine motor skills, which are crucial for tasks like writing and physical coordination.

When using the games and toys with classmates, they will facilitate social interaction, helping the students learn important skills such as sharing, cooperation, and communication.

Your support in providing these essential resources will directly contribute to my student's development and ability to learn and have fun in school!
