This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I believe that incentives make a positive difference in student learning. Research says that students who are motivated are successful in school and spend more time on tasks. The more time that is spent on behavioral issues means lost learning time.

These Incentives will be given to students who demonstrate positive behaviors and work hard throughout the entire school day.

The incentives include stickers, fidget toys, play-doh, slime, cars, and more! In our class, incentives are used as a part of classroom management and are awarded to students weekly. These incentives are crucial because they serve as motivators for positive behavior from the students. My students always get very excited about these incentives and are highly motivated to stay focused and work hard for a prize!
