My Project

The gaming industry today has developed some amazing and relevant life skills into the content of their games. It's why so many young people love to play them and strive to achieve their best. Teachers aim to do the same thing each day with their students. Education can learn a lot from the gaming franchise.

Students can learn a lot about themselves and their ability to persevere when competing in video games.

The Mario franchise is perfectly suited for middle school children as it is appropriate and engaging. Students can race each other can compete in friendly ways, have grade wide competitions, and learn about teamwork in the process.

My plan with this project is to incorporate the values of ESPORTS by teaching students' communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Mario Kart is a great way to achieve these goals because it can reach all my middle school students in positive ways, engage them and naturally build a supportive community.
