This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for crayons and crayon storage boxes for my classroom. For years I have been a color pencil kind of teacher. But what I am finding is many of my students in the last few years do not have great fine motor skills. When we color with colored pencils, it becomes a chore for a few of them. I would like to offer crayons in place of colored pencils for the students who need it. You shouldn't be stressed out when coloring, I would like to make coloring in my classroom a relaxing event.

These crayon boxes will keep the crayons organized and in tip top shape.

I have found that when students have to put supplies away in little containers, they usually stay in better condition and don't end up on the floor. These crayon boxes will keep the crayons nice and neat and hopefully make them last longer. Thank you for considering to donate to my project.
