This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are part of FRC (First Robotics Competition). They compete with building a robot for six weeks. During the offseason, my students help mentor our community FLL (First Lego League) team. FLL students come from various schools and meet with FRC team members. This is part of our outreach program. Students will learn patience and teaching skills as they work in small teams teaching Lego robots to upcoming team members. This project is requesting 9 Lego sets for junior robotics. Students will use the requested Lego sets to expand on our challenge courses. This is a great way for students to share their love of STEM activities.
