Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will have a more organized and appealing classroom environment. The cleaning supplies like the broom, dustpan, duster and swiffer mop will help us keep our room tidy and clean for classes to rotate. The hooks will help organize headphones and hang cleaning supplies. The lights will set the mood and create a more inviting learning room by highlighting the most important areas of the classroom.

The plastic name tag sleeves, will help me preserve name tags so they can last all year long.

The dry erase pocket sheet protectors, will showcase the hard work of my students. The magnetic hooks and shelf will help me display anchor learning charts and books easily in the board. These curtains will help control the heat from the sunlight and will help minimize the glare on the board. The timer will be an amazing visual for students to manage their time when completing independent work.

Finally, the books will help me aid students that are struggling in their comprehension, vocabulary and phonemic skills in reading. Either for homework or for small groups, these worksheets will help my boys and girls achieve academic success and strengthen their reading skills.
