My Project

My ninth grade students are often embarrassed about needing personal hygiene items in the classroom and would rather sign out of school early than admit they need assistance. This project is unlike any I have done before as it provides feminine hygiene products to all of my young teenage ladies in need. Instead of admitting they need assistance from the nurse or at home, students will be able to discretely obtain items such as tampons, deodorant, wipes, and other basic necessities such as band-aids and on-the-go toothbrushes.

High school is hard enough academically, socially, and emotionally.

This project will give my students a dignified method of obtaining the products needed without the embarrassment of obtaining them.
