My Students

RIBBIT! RIBBIT! "Help students LEAP their way into exploring the internal and external anatomy of Bullfrogs!" Allow students to manipulate a real organism and capture the essence of dissection.

Our student body consists of pupils who are very visual and kinesthetic.

They enjoy learning in the classroom and then applying their knowledge in the lab room. Each student has a specific studio in a New York City performing arts high school. The students at this school truly value and appreciate each opportunity given to them!

My Project

Do you remember the first time you dissected an organism in high school? The experience stays with you for a lifetime! My students have not yet explored the anatomy of frogs and with your donation, they will be able to discover the "ins" and "outs" of this amazing opportunity! Our students will be able to locate the internal organs of a frog and master the function of each. Students really dive into this two day lab and therefore are able to apply this knowledge to their own bodies. This lab really helps students to recall what organs look like, where they are located and how organs work together to maintain a fully functioning body! The knowledge that they acquire during this lab activity can also be used during their college career. Students are required in most colleges to take even the most basic of science courses. Therefore by mastering the anatomy of frogs in high school, students have a head start!

Mastery of a subject is said to occur when students are able to teach others what they have learned. This donation may even inspire students to become a doctor or attend medical school! Students come back to me each year with their memories of the first time they dissected a frog. So, please help the future generations of students explore an opportunity of a lifetime! "RIBBIT!"
