Organization Promotes Success

Help me give my students a learning space to feel successful and organized in. The bookshelf I've chosen will fit perfectly beneath my SmartBoard and help me to organize my materials for Read180.

My Students

I have the best students in the whole world. I may be a bit biased, but I truly believe that any child that comes my way is amazing. Everyday, we work together to solve problems, identify new ways of thinking and practice our basic reading and writing skills so my students will leave school confident and ready to face the world.

These kids are truly our future, thus it is so important that we care and provide for them the best we can.

I want each of my students to feel accepted and loved for who they are, regardless of any differences. With disabilities, I don't see the "dis." Only the "ability."

My Project

There is not much storage space in my room and while this has helped me to cut down on unnecessary items, it has also presented a problem: where do my students consistently put their materials? In order to to establish a comfortable routine, children need to know what to expect each day.

Help my students build a comfortable routine and establish organizational skills by supporting my project.

We will use the drawers to store our daily materials, as well as additional items students may have forgotten to bring. The bookcase will store all of my reading materials, so students have easy access. Finally, the wiggle seats will provide my students with the proper amount of stimulation to help their minds focus on the task at hand. Let's work together to bring an environment of learning to these kids! They certainly deserve it!
