Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 30 enthusiastic learners that love learning! We are a Title I school in a low socioeconomic neighborhood with limited resources. 100% of our students receive free lunches. The majority of my students are English Language Learners with a lot of curiosity and great ideas. They come from hard-working families that have at least two jobs. My students need the right resources and tools to help them master the academic standards in all areas and become successful scholars. Help my students reach their full potential!
My Project
My students have been working very hard, hence our school supplies have dwindled and we are in need basic supplies to continue with our academic success after winter break! Many the families lack financial resources to contribute to our class and highly depend on our school to provide what is needed. My students look foward to weekly fluency passages and interact daily with them. Your donation would help continue with our daily routine.
Second semester supplies are much needed to ensure that they have the necessary resources such as copy paper for their weekly fluency reading packet, homework, ink to print out their reports and pencils.
