Preschool has an important role in every child's life. Preschool lays the foundation for their education and the rest of their lives. That is why it is my job to give them the best and richest experiences that I can. I want them to experience everything possible, all from within our classroom and school. I want them to leave my classroom happy, safe, and excited about coming back the next day.
My inclusion preschool classroom is comprised of 24 students who are all unique; they come from different countries, they speak different languages, and they have different abilities.
My students love learning about new things, using manipulatives, and playing educational games. They love screaming "I did it!" when problem solving; which is why more math in the class would strengthen their foundation of education.
My Project
My students are eager to learn and try new activities. They LOVE any hands on games or manipulatives. This math project would help them learn how to work together, how help their friends, and how to use their talents to beat the games! Preschool is a very fast paced, exciting day. The students learn so quickly that it can be challenging to find new games and materials to work with. With this donation, the students will have new board games to learn and play.
They will have hands on learning opportunities that will teach them number sense, counting, number identification, shapes, patterns, and fine motor skills.
The students will be even more excited to learn math and to challenge themselves!
