My Students
I have a kindergarten class full of curious, creative and eager learners! Students enter my classroom every day ready to learn and try something new! For many, this is their first experience in a school setting.
I am looking to fill my room with materials and technology that will help each and every student reach their full potential.
My class is composed of 18-20 students, from a variety of cultures. Over 1/3 of my class are ELL students. Many of these students are entering my room just beginning to learn English. As a new teacher, I am dedicated to filling my classroom with a variety of resources that will captivate and assist any learner in my class.
My Project
Many of these materials will help both my students and myself to stay organized throughout the year! The chair pockets will help my students to learn to take responsibility for their materials, while also teaching them basic organization skills.
I feel that teaching students organization from a young age will help them tremendously throughout their academic career.
Also in this project, are materials that will help with my students learning. The whiteboards will assist students with handwriting, while also being a great whole group learning tool. The privacy folders will help students with focusing on independent tasks and eliminate distractions.
