My students need opportunities to create great art they love with painting. Everyday a student will ask to paint. Having a four person easel, multiple colors of tempera paint, and resealable paint cups. Will bring joy.
This year I will have 21 students in my class they are artistic, creative explorers and have the love of things STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) related. My students love all things creative, inventive or anything that allows them to use their imagination along with a variety of supplies.
I have a classroom full of out of the box thinkers.
They are artistic, and scientific minded. They love engineering, and creating. We are in need of supplies. We will be able to create an in classroom garden. We will be able to raise butterflies. We will be able to create art. We be able to create and participate in scientific experiments.
Children love to learn by doing. By offering students these materials they will have the opportunity to learn new things through exploration. Students will be more involved in their own learning, thus there will be less behavioral issues and more class participation. STEAM activities allow all students to participate at their individual levels. This will allow me to meet my individual students' needs and allow them a creative learning environment.
My Project
My students love all forms of art. Painting is one of their favorite ways to express themselves. It brings complete joy to them. Hearing the conversations they have over art brings me complete joy. Having a four person art easel will allow students an opportunity to create art. I am asking for a four person art easel, a variety of paints, and paint cups that are resealable to allow paints each day. My students will also be able to use watercolors, colored pens, chalks, cray pas, and crayons with the easels. Painting at an easel will allow at least four students to work together on paintings at a time. The storage area will allow me to put all kinds of art supplies out for my students and allow them to make a choice of medium they would like to use.
