Hello, I am the librarian in a K-12 low income school district. The students are in the Jr/Sr High and there are about 70% on the Free and Reduced lunch program.

The school district is in a very low income area. There is not extra money for supplies. The high school students come to the library but there are no comfortable places for them to sit and read. There are tables but for the most part they are filled with kids doing work. I would like for the kids to be able to sit and relax and read.

I would love for the students to have a great place to sit and read comfortably. Beanbag chairs will provide just such seating. The students can take books or magazines to the beanbags. This will help create a reading area that the library does not have and desperately needs.

With the help of your donation we will be able to create a cozy reading area for the high school students. You will make it possible for the students to have an area that they can read and enjoy.
