My students need a set of Jeopardy remotes to replace the ones that go with our Jeopardy game system that have worn out through 5 years of normal use.

I teach 8th grade Physical Science in a rural, agriculturally-based community. Many of our students learn best from a hands-on type of review. We purchased a Classroom Jeopardy set several years ago and have had wonderful success using it in all three 8th grade science classrooms. Each year approximately 360 students use the set to review for chapter tests and the Virginia state SOL tests. It has been extremely effective in helping the students prepare and remember information in a fun way. Through normal use, several of the remotes have been worn out and need to be replaced. I am requesting this grant to purchase some new student remotes. This would allow me to replace the worn out remotes and to break the class into smaller groups during the games, thus allowing for more active student participation. Your support would allow my students to continue to prepare for tests in a fun, education, and interactive way.
