My students need a butterfly kit, Teacher Packet, and Life Cycle Set to study Painted Lady butterflies.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Science feels so meaningless when it is out of reach of students. My third grade bilingual students are enrolled in a gifted and talented program in a urban, high-need school.
My students would thoroughly enjoy studying Painted Lady butterflies. However, our classroom lacks the necessary supplies that make it possible to do so.
In order to get a more complete understanding of butterflies and their life cycle, my class needs Painted Lady butterfly kits that include coupons for larvae, a life cycle kit, and a Teacher Packet to assist in instruction.
Your donations will allow my students an up close and personal look at the life cycle of this butterfly, and the opportunity to take something far removed from their lives and make it meaningful.
