Hi friends, family, and loved ones, For my mitzvah project, I am hoping to fund multiple projects created by teachers at under funded schools in Chicago. This project stood out to me because I want us all to have equal learning opportunities, especially schools that are online. Now more than ever it is more important that every student has the supplies they need to successfully learn at home. With the money we raise, these teachers will buy their students materials such as notebooks, textbooks, chrome books, and even face masks. Almost all of the students come from low income households and can not afford to buy supplies themselves. I understand how important it is to have materials like these especially during distance learning, which is why I am helping raise money to get them the necessary supplies. I hope one day I will be able to deliver these supplies in person, but for now the funding will go directly to the teachers and they will purchase the supplies.
