About Campbell Union High School District

Campbell Union High School District, located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, is a small, close knit district committed to ensuring every student is ready to construct bright futures after high school. We continue to make strides in being one of the best school districts in the county. We ranked as one of the top 20 school districts in the Bay Area for a second year in a row, according to Niche.com. Additionally, Branham High School received California Distinguished School status. We also continue to make strides academically with more students accessing free college-level courses through our dual-enrollment partnership with West Valley community College than ever before. With a focus on equity, we continue to prioritize the important work of addressing the systemic inequities in our school system, while also providing students with the socio-emotional support they need after more than a year of isolation.

CUHSD serves more than 8,500 students at five comprehensive campuses: Branham, Del Mar, Leigh, Prospect and Westmont High Schools. Our sixth site, Boynton High School, is an alternative school serving a variety of special needs in our community and was awarded the California Model School award. Additionally, we offer the Campbell Adult and Community Education (CACE) program, which provides adults of all ages and levels of experience with accessible and affordable educational opportunities.

Our student population is approximately 4% African-American, 12% Asian, 55% Caucasian, 2% Filipino, 23% Hispanic, .01% Native American, and .8% Pacific Islander, reflecting the well-known diversity of our community.
