My name is Zully Jerry. I am a second grade educator at Jesse Keen Elementary in Lakeland, Florida. I am a very enthusiastic teacher who is always finding different ways to keep my students actively engaged and involved in their learning. Many of my students come from low-income communities and have different needs. Throughout the school year they struggle in several areas. Unfortunately, the lack of resources and support from home and/or a poor foundation from previous school years are some of the constant challenges that the majority of my students face every year. I am currently using Nearpod, which is an interactive presentation and assessment tool, that I use in daily basis to deliver my small and whole group instructions and to keep my students engaged while learning.
