My students are in the midst of building the foundational skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. They are learning to read. Letter recognition and letter sounds are a major part of that process. They are learning numbers and basic math facts as well. The program I am requesting will allow my students to become more engaged when learning these skills. Augmented reality allows students to create concrete examples and experiences into the classroom that would otherwise not be possible. Letters and Math Alive will open a whole new world for my students. The goal with this program is to increase literacy and math proficiency through engaging augmented reality activities in my kindergarten classroom. The students do not always have an opportunity to experience programs like this one and I hope to provide this experience for them on a daily basis.
