Using technology, books and handouts is a daily activity in my classroom, however of the three mentioned my students gravitate more towards using technology. As a teacher you have to be creative in understanding your students learning needs or styles and what better way for them to learn than by providing a tool that they love and enjoy using. I have observed that my students do well when I incorporate technology in my lessons, it also helps immensely with students who have behavior issues. Therefore, I created this project so I can meet my students' needs by using these tablets as a method to enhance their reading and comprehension. There are millions of educational resources online for building reading and comprehension, these materials will be used in small and whole group instruction to help maximize reading. It will also allow students to work at their level independently working on the necessary skills needed. By using these materials to do so, no student will be left behind as they will have the opportunity to build their on their reading and comprehension at their level . All we need are the materials to help them use the resources that are there for them to benefit from, please help me create a difference in my classroom.
