The cameras we hope to get through this project will help me enable my students to become better photographers, particularly when they are taking photos of indoor events and sporting events. While we do have some Nikon point-and-shoot cameras, we have discovered that there are limitations to what they allow the students to do picture-wise. Having DSLRs will allow my students to have a better chance of taking great pictures at sporting events (basketball, soccer, and flag football) and other indoor events such as concerts and club meetings. Without donors' help, we will not be able to afford these cameras this year.
