Thank you for your interest in my class! I took my first ceramics class in the very classroom I now teach. It was my favorite class in high school and I'm so happy I was able to continue my education in art and ceramics through college. I have been teaching ceramics for 9 years, and I absolutely love it; the challenges, the fun, the dirty hands all day long. It is the most amazing experience to see how excited my teenagers get about creating with their hands. For the first time last year I submitted a student piece to the National K-12 Clay competition and it got in! It was shipped to Seattle, WA and on display for the National Convention on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA). It has inspired me to submit even more student work this year to this amazing national competition. Thank you for your support for the arts and my ceramic students!
