We are a Positive Behavior Change and Transition Program Special Day Class that serves elementary aged students with emotional disturbance or other moderate to severe disabilities that impede their progress in education. This program provides these students a nurturing, positive learning environment with an emphasis in behavior support and social skills training amongst core and functional academic skills. Most students in this program also have severe sensory output needs and rely on movement activities to help them through their school day. We are constantly trying to find new fun ways to provide this necessary part of their educational day while also making connections to cooperative play and social skills.
