At Shortridge High School, our students come from various socioeconomic background, and regardless of where they come from, they all deserve the opportunity for a great learning experience. World language courses are part of the requirements for students to obtain an IB Diploma Degree, so that the students are capable of communicating with people from around the world and understand cultures from different perspectives. As a Mandarin, Chinese teacher, my job is not only to teach them the language, but also to cultivate them to be responsible internationally-minded citizens who are passionate about caring for the world that we live in.

About my class
