I am requesting Chromebooks for my students to use in class. Many students do not know how to properly utilize the technology they do have for educational purposes, yet they envision themselves as future doctors, engineers, scientists, and researchers and sought to be part of our school's Medical Arts Academy. The Chromebooks will help in the Technology area of STEM and increase the learning efficiency of these 21st Century Learners. The district issued laptops do not work properly and many are sent off for repair. Teachers are encouraged to create a digital learning environment for these 21st Century Learners but, cannot properly utilize the issued laptops. The Chromebooks will help the flipped learning environment by allowing the students to conduct research without issues. The students will also learn coding while utilizing the Chromebooks.
