All of our students require additive learning in each lesson. That requires a significant amount of printing. My students are also very visual and being able to print in color can benefit them. Having a printer in the classroom can also aid in creating visual schedules to help all the students throughout the school day. In my classroom we focus on structured teaching, so there are times in the day where we need to do rotation , in order to promote a variety of exposure to different skills. For some students part of that rotation includes the ability to use technology in order to have access to ABC Mouse, Reading IQ, Reading A-Z and Teach a Monster to Read. Having the ability to have a tablet in the classroom can allow the student to have a one to one interaction in order to help promote new skills.
