I have the privilege in teaching in a high impoverished area, with many having limited English. The students come from such rich cultures it makes it challenging to hear what they are saying. They are truly respectful children with support from many of their families. The staff, parents, and administrators work together to find assistance for our students who have challenges from providing counseling to English Language tutoring in the morning to providing community members to come in and spend time with our students.

About my class
