I teach a 4th grade class Edmond, Oklahoma. There are a little over 500 students who attend my school and almost 100% free and reduced lunch. Many of them come from single parent homes, with parent's busy schedules it makes it difficult for them do homework with their child or simply have a conversation about their day. The students my colleagues and I work with are incredible children with amazing potential. Although, they have issues going on at home, they come to school with a desire to learn and willingness to work .

About my class
