A counting library containing bugs, farm animals and fruits will surely spark more goal setting and perseverance as my kids count and begin to group with friendly numbers. By donating to this project you will be helping not only the children in my class but the families whose shoulders they stand on. My students deserve an opportunity to thrive in math and have fun in the process. This array of counting materials will spark, motivate and practice the essential counting skills my students need. The primary grades set the foundation for the demands of 21st century math in the upper grades, and these manipulatives will support that endeavor.
