I am a 2nd grade teachers in a Title I school, meaning that the majority of our students receive either free or reduced lunch. Many of my students are also ELL (English Language Learners). In spite of both language and economic obstacles, our school is filled with hard working and dedicated students and teachers. My students come from households that lack both technology and other educational resources. Their exposure is therefore limited to what they use at school. Due to budgetary cuts in education, my school, like so many others, struggles to meet the needs of our students.
