Small groups are a vital part of our day in a first-grade classroom. The manipulatives and supplies I'm requesting will help my students see numbers in multiple ways. They will create engaging and exciting centers and small group work. Students will use the manipulatives to help them count and enjoy math while meeting their different learning styles. In addition, the color printer and laminator will be used to help engage students in colorful centers instead of basic worksheets. First graders need engaging and fun activities to keep their focus. You can help my students find different ways to do mathematics by donating to our project. Students will use the manipulatives to gain knowledge and make math fun again. The various materials will also help my students on different levels. The supplies I'm requesting will help with addition, subtraction, telling time, place value, and more. The materials will be used to create exciting and long-lasting small group centers to use for the rest of the year.
