Please help me create Little Language Learning kits that students can use at home while remote learning. These kits will encourage communication between parent/caregiver and child through play, creative art projects, and literacy opportunities. Creating a life-long learner begins early and for many of my students, learning, more specifically speech and language development, does not come easy. Despite the challenges my students may face, they are resilient and inspiring. I want to continue to make learning fun and engaging while they work on the essential, individualized skills they need to successfully communicate. These kits will include materials I am able to purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers, such as printable adapted books, extension activities, and Boom cards that will target language and articulation skills. Materials required for printing books and parent communication handouts, such as cardstock, as well as art supplies like play dough will be purchased as well. My hope is that these Little Language Learners kits will provide students and parents with many opportunities to engage in rich and meaningful speech and language experiences.
