Many students in my classroom are constantly moving in their seats. Classrooms are not conducive for those students. Being expected to sit still and learn is something that is very difficult or nearly impossible for some students. Boys in particular have a difficult time with this. Having a majority of boys in the classroom this year, creates a very active environment. Many of my students prefer to stand or work in other places around the classroom. The wobble chairs are a great alternative chair for my more active and fidgety students, both boys and girls. Having the option to sit in a chair that moves will help keep students more focused during instruction and work time.
