These iPads will allow my students to document their work digitally and store it easily on Google accounts. This will make sharing and storing their artwork with their parents and family members more efficient. They will learn how to use apps to digitize their art, explore careers in digital art, and explore all of the art opportunities available in this technology driven world. My students will be able to tour art museums that most will never have the opportunity to see in person. The iPads with shockproof/waterproof cases will allow students to follow guided tutorials at their own pace. The addition of STEAM tools in the art classroom will enhance critical thinking, collaboration, and motivation in the art room. Together we will learn new avenues to explore art, in addition to learning and exploring how and why art is so essential to creative learning. I want my students to see that what they are learning in their general education classroom has close ties to art, that they go hand in hand, and how much art matters. This set of iPads will allow for more specific and guided learning for my students. I cannot wait to see all of the wonderful ideas and how much my students grow from this educational addition to our art room.
