There are 30 very diverse students in my class. There are many different cultures represented in my classroom. Among the backgrounds of the students in the classroom, there is Orthodox Jewish, Muslim, Latino and Asian. Most of my students are English Language Learners. I also have four students with Individualized Education Plans. My school is located in an urban setting with all students receiving free lunch and breakfast. The school has around 700 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. There are three second grade classrooms, and I will have these students for second and third grade.
