When you think of school, what do you think of? Many of my students think of a home away from home--a safe space where they know their opinions are valued, their identities matter, and their goals and aspirations are of the utmost importance. Our classroom is a vibrant space, filled with laughter, love, and learning. We engage in inquiry-based projects and real-world experiences and excursions on a daily basis. By donating to our classroom projects, you will support instructional, environmental, and pedagogical improvements which will increase student academic achievement and digital literacy skills. Things like school supplies, library books, access to technology, and classroom improvements are always needed to ensure our classroom meets the educational needs of the Title 1 community served at Barnard Elementary.
