I believe that art has the power to transform individuals, communities and most importantly, mentalities. As artists, it is our responsibility to celebrate the beauty of our world and question its inadequacies. Art is a form of activism through which we can face these challenges and sculpt a better future. In addition to my own artistic endeavors, it is my duty and pleasure to mentor and inspire the next generation of creative minds. I've taught art for a decade at the high school and university level. I hold a Master of Fine Arts from the Univeristy of Florida (Go Gators!) and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!).
